Dolphins offense filled with question marks

In fact, there is only one player who, barring injury, is guaranteed to be a starter at the position he occupied a season ago, and that's running back Ronnie Brown. A few other starters -- like Chambers and counterpart Marty Booker -- should be returning, but Chambers' legal issues and the possible emergence of first-round rookie Ted Ginn Jr. could leave either of the two veterans out of the starting lineup come September. You've also got a few guys who will likely start again, but at different positions. Former right tackle Vernon Carey is moving to left tackle, former right guard L.J. Shelton is moving to right tackle and ex-center Rex Hadnot could be shifting to right guard.

Beyond that, every position along the offensive front will be manned by a new player in '07. There are new No. 1s at quarterback, fullback, center, slot receiver and tight end. However, the most questionable position of all is that of left guard. Currently, rookie Drew Mormino is battling with journeyman Chris Liwienski for starting duties. The Dolphins are also considering free-agent upgrades such as current Jet Pete Kendall or former Cardinal Milford Brown. None of these players is expected to turn left guard into a position of strength in the near future.
 
Yeah, lots of question marks, but IMO being an optimist, lots of cause for excitement. New Blood, new attitude, new dediction, and perhaps new results. Just can't wait to get this thing going!!

Well yes, a lot of questions that will get answered soon. They make it seem like it's a bad thing when it can go either way. We may find diamonds in the rough or we may stink.

There's always a chance of either happening
 
If the former players didn't do their job well (the unit was ranked #20 in total offense), are you going to stick with them? Of course we have new guys, we needed them. And if they don't perform well or at least promising, we'll have new ones next year too.:tantrum:

Agree...

One definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...If you do the same things, you can expect the same results...We werent happy with last seasons results were we??? So we had to make changes

More silliness from the media. Chirs Chambers, btw does not have "legal issues". He will be charged with speeding and wreckless driving. This will have NO impact on his position or status with the Dolphins.

You're right on the questions thing but remember how anemic we have been on offense since Norv Turner left. I welcome the changes, we needed to overhaul the offense if we are going to have a chance to improve.

It will be touch early in the season as the team gels but by midseason I believe we will be more productive. We wont be as predictable as we've been for the last several years.

Didn't Saban have a saying like that ? Wait.... Nick is that you? But I totaly agree with you, we have sucked on offense for 5 years

ha, please do not ever cmpare me to that ***. he something something to that effect. Too bad he doesnt take his own advice. The change will be coming soon on offense. By 2009 we will have a top 5 offense
