Many supporters of the "let's see who the best QB is" point out the whole Griese debacle as "proof" that bringing in "anyone" isn't the right decision. We all point at the Griese experiment and feel ashamed. And we should be, he was a total flop. But was Griese REALLY the best player on that team?...let's look at Griese's FIRST 5 games as a dolphin, and Jay's LAST 5 games as a dolphin. All back to back same players, comprable teams, and let's just see who put up better numbers and by how much shall we?

151 yards, and two more TD's equates to one or two wins in this game. You CANNOT compare stats and say "look they are the same".

It all comes down to when those completions were made, and at what point did those extra two touchdowns occur?

Had Griese stayed int he Redskins game, chalk up another loss. It was Jay's fire and grit that turned the game around.

Look, I am HOPING that AJ Feeley wins the job. Jay is not a QB I want under center, but comparing him to Griese? Give me a break.

Why not Sage? When he was a Redskin, he was supposed to be their QB for the future. He's now been with us for like 3 years now. He knows the playbook. He knows the system. Hes got a nice arm. Im sure he has some mobility. Sage in '04!
