Free agent WR's

Right now, Tim Brown is the obvious decision. However, the team may decide to stick it out with who we have rather than sign a 38-yr old.

go with the young fast recieving corps. sign ogun and who everelse is running thin on the contract. let the offence score, but let the defence win games (we pay them too)

thats sounds good

Tim Brown is better then anyone left on our roster. He is better then DT on his worse day. He makes tough catches and is a locker room guy. Yes he is old, and he is slower then he use to be, but he can move the chains. Something noone else on this team can do on a consistant basis besides CC.

how much are we under the salary cap, with all the signings?

we are the the same offense like last year now, new o-line, ricky and boston less, that sucks so much , i dunno what to say, why is it always us that has that bad luck, why o why oh why

How is the offense going to be scoring points? Chambers can't do it alone, he can't even do it with Ricky around. Only if Feeley proves capable of running a short passing offense will the Dolpins move the ball.

The defense is good, but has never proven to be good enough to carry the team, ala the 2000 Ravens.

We need a vet WR to come in and help the young guys. What if we lose another WR during the season, even for just a couple weeks? Sucks to think about, but it does happen. We are down one, and it would be foolish to think we can get by with what we have right now.

Think about it. New OL that needs to learn to play together. Maybe a new QB (Feeley). A new starter at HB (Minor?). Then add a bunch of young guys at WR to all of that? :shakeno: That looks like a 6-10 season to me.

this could give fiedler the starting job, just because he is more familiar with the offense, oh well....:shakeno:

Tim Brown will do 1 of the following 3

Sign with Denver - Has a great relationship with Shanahan
Sign with Tampa - Has a great relationship with Gruden
Retire - Hes old and will only be able to run curls or comeback routes which wont open up the field for chambers.

I'm not going to throw in the towel just yet. We'll just have to see what happens in the coming weeks/months.

Im sure he can run a little more than that. Anyway if your getting 5-7 yards a time on short patters underneath what are you gonna do, just let the offense keep getting them, nope your gonna have to play them more honest which means more room for other recievers to work.

BS! No he doesn't at all. Brown openly criticized Gruden after he left Oakland and Gruden also didn't like the way Brown criticized Calahan after he left Oakland. They DO NOT have a great relationship. This was reported by Chris Mortenson on ESPN.
