Let me start by saying that I knew we would take a step back this year because of the strength of schedule and the fact that we had some glaring holes in the roster. The holes are no surprise as previous administrations drafted some real crap, (Jason Allen and Ted Ginn Jr), and let a player like Wes Welker get away to a division rival. That said, this 2009 Miami Dolphins team can just rip your freakin heart out. At times they appear to be able to dominate upper eschelon teams like the Colts and Saints, then they just let it get away. For 2-3 quarters the offensive line is surging forward, opening up holes and Ricky and Ronnie are running like mad. Then other teams bring up their safeties and put 8 in the box and we have NO answers. Our passing game is among the worst in the NFL. Rookie QB and a boat load of possession receivers that can't get separation, oh yeah and Ginn.. our deep threat! Then our defense seems to forget how to play as well. Too many big plays, especially TE crossing routes....What the hell. Sorry about the ranting, but if your gonna have a crap record, play like crap, don't tease us for 2 or 3 quarters and then play like CRAP!

This season is almost as frustrating as 2007, back then we were pissed because we knew we should have one some games and not be going 1-15, not a great team, but there were some games we should have won, this year we know we have the potential to be a great team, we had two of the best teams in the NFL beaten in the Colts and the Saints and we let them get away from us, we know we could easily be 4-1, 3-2 right now, but we have let too many games get away from us, we have the best running game in the NFL, yet we stray from it whenever we need it most, we have arguably the fastest WR in the NFL in Ted Ginn Jr, but he simply can't catch the ball and plays scared, we added talent to our secondary with Gibril Wilson and our two rookie corners, yet this is the weakest link on our team, the Miami Dolphins have what it takes to be a great team in the NFL, they just don't haven't taken advantage of their opportunities.
