Green Bay reporter on Jennings, Philbin, Finley

Jennings: Questions his age in terms of a signing. Did some good things at the end of the year. Personable and approachable
Philbin: Fingerprints all over the GB O. The week he was mourning his son's death hurt the Pack because he was not around.
Finley: Thinks the Packers have to try to hold on to him esp. with Jennings leaving.

Says Greg Jennings is still a complete player who can line up anywhere on the field. Made reference to no receiver having more 40+ yard receptions than Jennings from 07-11. Said the sports hernia injury he had last year caused him some problems, and you have to wonder about that (as well as his age) when deciding what kind of contract to give him. Sounded somewhat cautious.

Said Jennings is a friendly, honest and approachable guy. Does a lot of really good things in the community. Mentioned Jennings is excited for the future and ready to move on. Very complimentary about Joe Philbin, said Philbin was very influential at Green Bay and gave the impression Jennings has huge respect for Philbin. His words were “Jennings would love to be a Dolphin”.

As for Finley, he said he thought the Pack should look to hold onto him .. especially if they lost Jennings. Described Finley as a 6’5 240 pound tight end who is a match up nightmare. Said Finleys comments are sometimes taken out of proportion. Green Bay isn’t always fond of Finley being in the headlines but imagines the team will want to hold onto him.

Love the sig btw.
