I think the value is there.
Without the ACL injury he is probably a first round talent.
His skills, more than any other QB after the 1st round,translate very well to our offense and what McDaniel likes to do. He has the added benefit of being very mobile, assuming his ACL heals well.
The kid is excellent at scanning the field and making reads, has the arm to get the ball wherever he needs, particularly in tight windows, AND throws very well on the run.
He wont last to the 3rd round, I'd take him with our 2nd round pick if he is there and wouldnt look back.
Sit him behind Tua, he will certainly overtake Skylar on the depth chart.

Hooker would be interesting if fell to Miami's 2nd round pick. Maybe it's his build, but he reminds me a bit of Donovan McNabb.
