Not sure why they wouldn't sign Freeman anyway. Many contracts are not gaurenteed so give him a little to sign with some incentives. If KM or some other receiver comes along then bring them in and cut Freeman, he knows there are no sure things in this league and we would be covered if no one else becaomes available. Would'nt be surprised to see them get him next week if the young guys dont show much this Saturday. They will get a chance with CC and DT not playing from what I have read.
