Risky to pay a guy that much after his first really good year, especially when you consider the circumstances of him having the best OL in the NFL in front of him and great weapons around him.

I don't think Hurts is a guy who is great outside of a controlled system but Philly has a perfect system for the perfect guy to run it.

Avoiding the Lamar drama. Hurts was a second rounder so no 5th year option like most young starting QBs.
