Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Griese will have a street re-named in his honor in Evansville, Ind., on Tuesday.
The former Maxwell Street will officially be re-named “Bob Griese Pass” and a monument will be unveiled in honor of the football great who grew up and went to high school there.
One of Griese's former Dolphins wide receivers, Nat Moore, will be on hand.
Other Dolphins quarterbacking greats to have streets named after them include Dan Marino (in Miami Gardens) and Earl Morrall (Davie).
