Jay Cutler - seems to be fins top choice

Hes made the playoffs twice, which is still infinitely better than our starter, so this might not be the right team to bring that up in. And I wouldn't call Denever "perenni winners." They had a pretty long stretch of not being good.

Denver had a long stretch of not being good AFTER Cutler was there. They hadn't had a losing season in some 7-8 years before Cutler was there. Enter Cutler.........

At this point, if Cutler is to return, it would likely be the result of Gase's convincing. And while the Dolphins certainly recognize their need for a quarterback, the team (especially Gase) isn't likely to reach a point of desperation with Cutler. The Dolphins remain subtly patient. A longer lack of commitment from Cutler would most certainly change that internal demeanor.

For now, Cutler and the Dolphins are on the same page: Both realize he needs to be 100 percent committed to a return to the field. Unless and until he reaches that point, neither party is interested in moving forward.

Ugh... not worth it. 15 million and less money for next year for Landry

Trade for mccarron or hundley, is our best bet... we need to draft someone young to develop as a back up anyways, why not spend a pick now.

Sons suggested in another thread Moore could start the season, while the new guy learns the ropes

If Gase is having to convince him, it doesn't seem that Cutler is overly enthused about returning. Obviously we don't know the discussions and how much the family is resisting, if at all, but one can't help but wonder.

it's been noted as so.

Just heard we're close now just small money difference and family wants him to stay retired

. . .

Listen to your family, Jay. They love you waaaaay more than we ever will.

Hoping this Cutler gossip is nothing more than an attempt to put pressure on another option. While it is quite possible other avenues they have explored turned into dead ends and now Cutler is plan E. I do find it a tad disappointing that Gase is even considering Cutler, it won't be the the first puzzling decision he has made though.

So they would pull the trigger without waiting on the 2nd and 3rd opinion on Ryan? Seems like internally they have already decided His year is over, if that's the case.

Figured nothing would happen till as least Ryan got those other Doc's to weigh in.
