JJ Reddick

Fred Hoiberg also shot 48% from 3 last year in the NBA, JJ's career high in his 3 full seasons was 40% last year(was under 40% his first 2 years). he is not as great a shooter as the media would lead us to believe. he has never come close to even leading his own conference in 3P% so how is he the best in the Country?

More good points nyjunc..

He will end up being a lottery pick unless he plays poorly in the tourney. And I dont doubt he will find a niche in the NBA simply b/c he is a great shooter. He has a lousy shooting percentage b/c people gameplan for him on the college level, and when they play lousy defense like Texas, he goes off. But if you want to shut him down its not hard.....anyone over 6'5 whos more atheletic than him gives him problems. There are a lot of those type guys in the NBA. Fortunately for Reddick most NBA players dont play defense, so he will do fine.

I can buy that this year and last but as a freshman and sophomore he was not a star player and teams were worried about other players like Duhon & deng before JJ and w/ little pressure he shot under 40% from 3.

JJ would be best suited for a team like SA. A team where he can be the shooting specialist that SA will need. That team already has the other kinds of specialist and now they can add a shooter and scrapper.
