Fred Russell beats out Terrence Wilkins for a roster spot as the KR. I think we'll sign a veteran offensive lineman to compete for a starter's spot and chase a WR, both after June 1st. Right now we can't speculate much. My hope is Frank Middleton. But I also wouldn't be suprised to see St. Clair go in there. Having a rookie and two young first-time starters at C-RG-RT is really dangerous. Veteran LT will also be a focus. McIntosh would have been that guy. Lots of nice young guys on the OL. But zero depth. LB also needs veteran depth.
Special teams will also be a focus. I believe that we'll have more guys making the team for special teams this year, perhaps at the cost of some positional depth. But that's a risk I'm willing to take. I also believe that Yeramiah Bell will come on strong and could be the backup safety at both spots, possibly even start at some point this season. The guy has some serious skills.
Again, just guesses. We know absolutely NOTHING at this point. Especially in regards to the rookies. So it's just my best uneducated, uninformed opinion.
