we suck. but as long as we bea tthe friggin jets ONCE this year I'll be happy. oh yea, the bills too. adn the pats. just one win on each rival, and the season wasn't a wash.

It is quite pathetic to see how delusional one win twists the mind into thinking everything is peaches and cream from here on out.

gotta admit that we looked better though, our O line did decent enough to win, and if they do good, our whole offense will do good... so its not about getting a win and thinking things are peaches and cream, its seeing progress and maybe soon things will be peaches ad cream...

Here is thing thing that bugs me more than anything. Say we get past the Jets and beat both the Cardinals and Niners. We would still be 4-6 and most likely third in the division. The only realistic shot a a playoff spot would be to run the table from here on out, and that would be very difficult. Can you imagine winning nine in a row, only to lose the last game of the season and missing th eplayoffs despite most likely being the hottest team in the league? That would hurt worsre than going 1-15. Because in that scenario, Dave probably stays as does Fiedler and we would have a terrible draft pick.

I will not be tempted to have playoff delusions. This is a bad team. Even bad teams win one.
