The thing is I figured that they'd tag him with all this talk about trade possibilities. I don't know what a team would have to give up to aquire him but I seriously doubt that they keep him all the way to the season opener or even the draft because they will have to be giving up alot of money that they don't have. So i figure they're taking the risk in hoping a team will give up the required amount to get him. They basically did not want to lose him for nothing, at least thats what I think.
