Miami's game against Indy next year could help get Manning

It's a small bargaining chip, to be sure. But the Miami Dolphins would be remiss if they didn't mention their 2012 schedule when courting free-agent quarterback Peyton Manning in the next few days.

The Dolphins have the Indianapolis Colts, Manning's former team, on their schedule next season. Miami travels to Indianapolis, in 2012 and the date will be determined sometime next month.

This won't factor too heavily into Manning's final decision, but every little bit helps. Manning is very competitive, and he surely would be fired up the week of the game to show Jim Irsay and Indianapolis that they released Manning too soon.

Actually, I don't think that matters at all - and anyone who is thinking this matters needs a freaking life. He wants to win. He has nothing to prove, and he is in a good relationship with the Colts organization. Don't make this out to be something that it's not.
