My views of what is wrong with the NCAA Tournament seedings/teams left out

First of all, there is one team that really deserves to be in the NCAA tournament but isn't, and that is Utah State. They went 25-3 this year and were co-Big West Champions (17-1 in conference) but lost in the semifinals of their conference tournament by 1 point. They are currently ranked 22nd in the ESPN poll and are ranked 21st in the AP. This team should not have had to win their conference tournament or even go to the final to go to the NCAA tournament. They only lost two games in the regular season, which were to Utah and Pacific, and both teams are in the NCAA tournament.

Secondly, some of the seedings are ridiculous. How can Wisconsin have a solid season, win the Big 10 tournament, and then get a 6 seed? Maryland did not have a good regular season, but then they won the ACC tournament and got a 4 seed.

The ACC is a great conference, but some ACC teams are seeded too high. NC State and Georgia Tech are 3 seeds, and Wake Forest and Maryland are 4 seeds.

a lot of people would say FSu deserved to go as well. There will always be teams who people thought should've made it, but didn't. Can't satisfy everyone. BTW, ACC is the best conference in college BB, those teams are very deserving of their seedings. If their records don't look as good it's because of the ACC schedule--it's murder. Pac 10 and Big ten were a joke this year...big 12 was a letdown. SEC has a couple good teams, the rest are frauds(like UF).

Maybe I would think that FSU was worthy of an at-large bid if they could win away from home. The ACC is definitely the best conference in college basketball, but how can you justify giving Maryland a 4? Maryland could do some damage in the tournament, but their season as a whole does not justify a 4 seed.

Also, Georgia Tech very much deserved the 3 seed.
And Maryland, in the ACC tourney, they beat the #3, 2, and then 1 seed to win it. That deserves a 4.

You shouldn't get a 4 seed because of the ACC Tournament. Maryland did not deserve a 4 after the regular season they had. GT did deserve the 3 seed though. Also, Utah State had an excellent season, and deserved to be in the tournament. I don't care if they lost in the NIT, they only lost 3 games all season and were ranked towards the end. 2 of the 3 teams they lost to were in the NCAA Tournament, and one of them made it past the first round.
