To make things worse, the number on the uniform will probably have a circle around it like the new Brazil jerseys.

I think this looks horrible. The Nike logo is way too high, and if the US crest is centered, the Nike logo should be centered and right above (or below) it. Also, that red crap on the right sleeve just looks weird.

I have heard that our other jersey is blue, but I have not seen any pictures.

I told you Ice! I knew we were going to have cookie cutters the same as Brazil and Holland. In my opinion, they are slightly, and only slightly, better than the World Cup 2002 jersey... and by the way, I hated the last jersey! But I think I will buy this jersey only because I need a U.S national jersey.

But you're right - that red garbage on the left sleeve has to go! More importantly, why isn't Nike investing some real money into people who really know about fashion and product design?

I think they are way worse than the World Cup jerseys. I thought the blue ones were pretty nice.

I have the 2002 World Cup jerseys in white and blue, and I definitely will not buy this jersey. I just think it looks like ****. Hopefully the jerseys for the 2006 World Cup will be nice.

I hate how Nike only has one design for national team uniforms and then gives it to everyone.

Almost every company for soccer does that Ice. BTW, these are horrid. Alot worse than the jerseys from WC 2002...those were the best looking jerseys IMO. I own both home and away Jerseys for Argentina and USA from WC. I also own Peru's 2002 home jersey even though they did not make the cup.

Tim Howard was on "Cold Pizza" this morning. It was another interview where the interviewer asked stupid questions because he knew absolutely nothing about soccer. However, Howard did show the new jerseys, with the number, and the number is red and just like the Brazil jerseys it is in a circle. :(

This is a change, because our last jerseys had blue numbers.

I think I found a better version. ;)

YUCK. YUCK. YUCK. No thank you, but I don't want sponsor logos on the front of our jerseys, especially in American professional sports.

Once in a RARE blue moon, it looks good. Like the case with Liverpool with the Carlsburg (beer) logo on the front. But I don't think I want the American companies like McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Viagra - stamped on our jerseys. So NOT cool.

Agreed. I just like Real Madrid because that is my club team.

They will never put sponsorships on the front of USA jerseys. Sponsors on jerseys SUCK! Migs just showed the picture because he is a Real Madrid fan.

I actually didn't attack Real Madrid in my post (although I should have ;) ) I attacked sponsorships. Real Madrid isn't the only club guilty of this, every club in Europe with the exception of Barcelona also has sponsors advertising on the front of jerseys.
