the rule in question makes perfect sense...tennessee lost oakland, and oakland lost to us. so by NFL front office logic, i give you the seedings(assuming all 3 win out):
1. tennessee
2. oakland
3. miami

i personally think cincinnati should get the #1 seed, didn't they lose everyone on their schedule? actually, they beat the texans, so houston outta get it

:hitself: <-- league office

Actually the seeding would be:
1. Oakland
2. Tenn
3. Miami
The 3 way tie is broken by conf record which oak and tenn are tied and mia a game behind... so miami gets dropped out to #3.. then the two way tie would be deceided by head-to-head in which oak takes #1 by beating Tenn..

even better, we would have to go thru the black hole to get to XXXVII even though we already beat oakland

my point is...we beat oakland and oakland beat tennessee
1. miami
2. oakland
3. tennessee

...is logical
