It's the start to another year and it's time to start the weekly power rankings thread.
As always this post is just for fun and a good place to gauge the opinion some of the sports writes have of us. I may add or remove power rankings sites from this list depending on how often they end up updating their rankings. I try to keep the lesser known sites (to me anyway) toward the bottom of the list as that is where most of the attrition takes place.
Anyway,
Here are the rankings for Week 1. Enjoy!

Comment: Raise your hand if you were surprised the Dolphins cut Larry Johnson. No former Chiefs legendary running back has been cut this unceremoniously since ... Larry Johnson, by the Redskins. Did anyone notice that
Chad Henne posted a 93.4 passer rating in the preseason? Get excited. He'll keep Miami ranked where it is until he and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll elicit any vertical presence in the passing game.
CBS Sports

Comment: It's all about Chad Henne and the passing game. They will be tough on defense. That's for sure.

It amazes me that the offensive line is a problem with all the investments and work in trying to fix it. (Clayton)
Sports Illustrated (Don Banks)

Comment:
The Dolphins draw the Patriots at home on Monday night, and that's as good as any place to open the 2011 season, because it's where 2010 starting going so wrong. Miami was a hopeful 2-1 when it played host to the Patriots on a Monday night in Week 4, but then came that monumental special teams meltdown and a second-half New England explosion in a 41-14 Pats win. The Dolphins lost seven of their final 12 games and never really got over that embarrassment in front of their home crowd. Time to make amends.

I have no idea what to expect from a team playing with a coach and QB they spent a good deal of time trying to replace.
