    Julio Jones looked really good.

If AJ Green had a QB, he would be in the running

Ingram/Julio Jones (If Tom Brady gets injured early in the season, Mallett will run away with this award)

Wouldn't be surprised if it was Bama on both sides of the ball.

Don't sleep on Corey Liuget either. Dude was beasting in the Chargers' preseason game.

Well nobody picked Cam Newton to win the OROY Award, but he did, with 47 votes. Andy Dalton finished second with 3 votes.

Let's look at Cam Newton's season:

    Started all 16 games, 60% completions, 4,051 yards, 21 TD's with 17 INT's. Added another 706 rushing yards and 14 TD's.

    Andy Dalton - Started all 16 games, 58.1% completions, 3,398 yards, 20 TD's with 13 INT's. Added another 152 yards rushing and 1 TD.

    A.J. Green - 15 games, 65 receptions, 1,057 yards, 7 TD's. Averaged 16.3 YPC.

    Julio Jones - 13 games, 54 receptions, 959 yards, 8 TD's. Averaged 17.8 YPC.

    DeMarco Murray - 13 games, 164 rushes, 897 yards, 2 TD's, 5.5 YPC. Added another 26 receptions for 183 yards.

    Mark Ingram - 10 games, 122 rushes, 474 yards, 5 TD's, 3.9 YPC. Added another 11 receptions for 46 yards.

There's 2 rookie offensive lineman that started all 16 games and graded out tops at their position:

Tyron Smith - Started all 16 games for Dallas at right tackle, graded out as the 4th best offensive tackle in the NFL according to PFF.

Mike Pouncey - Started all 16 games for Miami at center, the only starting offensive lineman for Miami that graded out with a positive run blocking grade. Although struggled in pass protection... allowed 15 QB pressures, 3 QB sacks, and 3 QB hits. Only two centers in the NFL allowed more QB pressures according to PFF.

Those of us that picked Von Miller and Marcell Dareus as DROY candidates were correct. Von Miller won it.

Von Miller - 15 games, 64 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 4 PBU's. Added another sack in the playoffs.

Let's look at some other candidates who had outstanding rookie seasons:

Aldon Smith - 16 games, 37 tackles, 14 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 4 PBU's, and 1 safety. Added another 2 sacks in the playoffs.

    Marcell Dareus - 16 games, 43 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 PBU's.

J.J. Watt - 16 games, 56 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 4 PBU's, 1 blocked field goal. Added another 3.5 sacks and 1 INT returned for a TD in the playoffs.

    Patrick Peterson - 16 games, 64 tackles, 2 INT's, 15 PBU's, 1 sack. Added an incredible 699 yards and 4 touchdowns on punt returns.
