O no O'Donnell?

Dophhins | O'Donnell To Visit? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
March 4, 2003 19:58:49 PT The Star Tribune reports free agent QB Neil O'Donnell (Titans) is expected to visit with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday.

It seems to think he will re-sign w/the Titans
O'Donnell visited Winter Park last week, and Vikings officials discussed contract parameters with him again Monday. They would like to sign him as the backup to starter Daunte Culpepper, but there is some thought that O'Donnell is waiting for his previous team, Tennessee, to free up salary cap space so it can re-sign him.

what's wrong w/ O'Donell now? I thought you guys wanted anyone but Lucas. There's no pleasing you finfans is there? I'd call Flutie if I were you.

I think Miguel was right about the Feely thing

Well we dont need another qb that even the bills can get pressure on...Hes too slow too old and basically done...

I want O'D over lucas - please :D :jumper: and even Flutie - why not ??? we signed TT didn't we ?

I do not like O'Donnall as a backup QB. I'd probably rather have Lucas now that he's got his legs under him

I am finally beginning to understand what the "free Lucas" quotes ACTUALLY meant.Anyone remember hearing, or even saying that?
I'd take O'D over Lucas.(unless it was a superbowl)

Hell no. Get rid of Lucas, use Sage as our #2 and then if needed lets suit up the team mascot for our #3 if needed. Hey, it's gotta be better then losing the ball 6 times in one game.

O'D will probably be re-signed with the Titans anyway ... they did this same thing with him a few years back... the GM even came right out and said that....

More interest in LT Turley, QB O'Donnell in town today

However, he did say the team would consider a deal if they could negotiate a long-term contract with Turley in advance of the trade.
