Indeed, the Magic still have some ways to go.
I don't want to throw the towel in, but it just doesn't look good. I'm already trying to figure out what kind of team Orlando is going to run next season when we get Tony Battie back.
He is a real Power Forward that will help Dwight out considerably when hes on the floor, as well as giving us a stronger team when Howard is on the bench. One of the things that we have to recognize in Orlando is that we are usually running with 2 small guards on the floor at all times. This isn't necessarily a back-breaking setup all of the time, but when you factor in how we played this entire season without a true power forward, that really compounds the whole "small guards" issue. That created major weaknesses for a team built like Detroit to exploit.
