The Blueprint said:I must be the only person stuck on Chambers, Booker, Hagan, Gibson, & Vick.
I really believe Vick can handle the return duties, and I don't see enough potential in Wes Welker to believe he'll improve much more as a receiver, and we have plenty of special teams players. The only way I wonna see Welker stick on is if we're keeping 6 WR's. Nonetheless, Welker is more than likely a lock to make the team.....
Aromashadu = practice squad. Campbell looks screwed by his injuries, as usual.
Williams, Murphy, Broussard, etc. - I don't care if we ever see them again, no offense.
I mean, I think u can't leave Wes off this team . . Vick is still learning the WR and return man position. If u throw Welker off this team, Vick is pretty much the only guy we got who can do returns (unless u want Sammy Morris, Travis Minor and Marty Booker doing them). Welker knows the routes man, I know u thinking he is slow and small, but think about it, if we leave Wes off this team, we have 2 starters and 3 guys who will be in there first year of true NFL experience . . we can't have that. As good as some of the guys look, u need a third option who fully knows the systems, and with Wes being a crisp route runner, a reliable option and our number 1 returner, he makes this team, no if's and's or but's.
We most likely gonna keep 5 WR's and 3 TE's, maybe 6 WR's but that will be tuff, but either way, I think Wes is #3 and will be there to start the season, with Hagan being the 4 and Vick/Gibson as the 5/6 with Vick being the other special team return specialist.
