I've read many posts on guys who are better fits to a ZBS, are athletic, and can get to the second level. That's all well and good but, if he cannot block well, what does it matter? Cog was a horrible fit but, could block. Jerry was a bad fit but, could pass block.
With more than half he NFL using ZBS, and most needing help, good players in FA are going to be overpaid. If you are not willing to pay the price you need to develop young guys, which takes time. Are we better off with fits who need to develop ability or misfits who have proven they can block?
Just a question on what opinions are in what the team appears to be thinking, and if you agree?
