This is the reason why people were so upset about Edds and Kearse being cut. We absolutely suck at developing young talent. Having this problem causes the FO to be very short sighted. We have no NT to develop on our roster. Good teams have a backup plan and we do not. (Starks to NT is not a viable plan). Edds was cut too soon when we have other BUMS on our roster that are not even active on gameday. Why not cut them? IKE or Trusnik can go if they like Spitler so much. Edds looked like he had enough tools to develop in our system.

If Misi got hurt I would think IAF would be the starter...Trusnik and Spitler were suppose to be speical teams demons..Edds was never going to be a guy who could play in a 34 and make an impact..Just too damn small...If I am not mistaken Edds claim to fame was that he was good in coverage...We have in theory cleared that up with getting 2 starting 3 down linebackers...Burnett and Dansby..All tho they are not doing too well right now in coverage..(Blame it on Pass rush or them but its still happening) . Also Edds hurting his knee combined with the lockout did not help Aj's cause. Spitler was a guy that was on this team last year who the FO really liked..for better worse....He also had a full camp when Aj did not..They know what they have in Spitler. Kearse is a huge project..I bet he ends up getting cut by the panthers. It takes a really long time to develop a young NT...Especially a guy who was a UDFA...It took Paul quite a long time to come around...The front office didnt give up on him? They devloped him right?

They could have easily cut him and sent him packing, At this point its paying we will see what happens during the year.

iaf is garbage also as your starting solb...teams will just exploit the heck out of his cod and lateral agility in the flats...bottom line is we are gonna again be looking for a pass rushing specialist olb this offseason (or we should be at least) and within the next year or two if we don't just get a situational guy we should look to acquire a 3 down solb...and one with some damn pass rush talent...not a one trick pony with little upside...and i dont care if the guys not money in coverage..we don't ask the solb to carry guys down the field in coverage anyways under nolan...its not hard to find someone who can flow into the flats and drop into soft zones...get a damn pass rusher over there...i'm sick of watching one tackle per game over there...its nauseating

Haha, sure did, I bet Tony got a chuckle when he signed Yeatman thinking he got inside info on BB. The BB signns Edds, and Tony's like "What? That wasnt supposed to happen.." Always a step (or 4) behind BB arent you Tony? Please leave and go back to Dallas..

They'll have Koa Misi back there at F/S next.... it makes about as much sense.

your example would make them even, not tony a step (or 4) behind.
