1.(19) Xavier Su'a Filo OG UCLA 6-4 307

He plays in a drive blocking system, but has the athleticism to fit in a zone-blocking scheme.

2.(18) Troy Niklas TE Notre Dame 6-6 270

He boasts an intriguing combination of size, athleticism, receiving ability and blocking ability to develop into a bona fide, balanced, No. 1 tight end.

3.(17) Carlos Hyde RB Ohio St. 6-0 230

A big, strong, powerful, NFL feature back who carried the Buckeyes' offense as a senior and proved he can be a workhorse.

4.(16) Christian Jones OLB Florida State 6-3 240

Fluid footwork and flawless hips when asked to turn with the WR in coverage. Knows how to use his length to his advantage. He flashes the strength to blow past blocks, but must be more consistent in its use.

5.(15) Bryan Stork OL Florida State 6-4 315

Good-sized, bump-and-steer blocker ideally suited for a zone-blocking, slide-protection scheme. Has played all three interior positions on the OL.

6.(14) Ross ****rell CB Duke 6-0 191

****rell started all but one game in his Duke career and finished with 12 interceptions and a school-record 41 pass breakups. He was a two-time first-team All-ACC selection.

7.(19) Jeff Janis WR Saginaw Valley St. 6-3 219

Accelerates into routes quickly and can separate vertically and uncover underneath working short-to-intermediate zones. Terrific production -- carves up lesser competition and creates chunk plays. Good red-zone target. Exceptional work ethic. Outstanding football character.

Nice job DK. I like Filo, but would probably go with OG Zack Martin, Notre Dame if he is there when we pick. I don't think the LT or DT position will now be a priority with us signing Albert and Starks, so maybe we could go after some skilled positions this year?

I like Niklas at TE, and also A. Sefarian Jenkins of Washington. Can we ever draft a TE early? :chuckle:

I also would love RB Bishop Sankey of Washington if he were to drop to Round Three.

I'm not mad at this draft. The Niklas and Hyde picks I love.

But I really think mosley could drop us and I just don't see how we can pass him. To me he screams the kind of player that pulls the defense together. We don't have that guy. We don't have that urlacher, or that Earl Thomas, or even Zack Thomas.

Mosley can be that guy IMO, he has the ability and the brains, and is constantly covering up for everyone elses mistakes on the field. The guy just covers a ton of field.

If we can get the line fixed in FA, I would be stoked to see us trade up for Mike Evans or back for Kelvin Benjamin. Matchup nightmares! Everything else is great with this mock.

I was debating between Sankey and Hyde. I think Hyde is the more complete back, but they are both very good. I have not given up on Miller yet, so I think he would be a nice complementary RB to Hyde.
