Ramses Barden

I love this kid. Only knock on him is he isnt the fastest of recievers. but at 6'6 230lbs this is the guy I think would answer our need for a big physical receiver.

Some sites have him projected going in the 5th, some as high as the 3rd. I think if he falls to the 4th Miami has to go for him.

However a good combine which I am expecting from him would rocket his projection and as one person has already stated, he could go as high as the late 2nd with a good combine.

I definitely want this guy. He could be our Brandon Marshall, except hopefully without the T.O. attitude.

Rameses Barden, a 6-6 senior out of Cal Poly, plays WR.

Worth a look in the later rounds?

Definitely worth a look but it will greatly depend on how he looks in the East-West Shrine All-Star Game as well as the Combine and other post-season workouts if the Trifecta wants to draft him.

Here's an interview he did for College Football Insiders

CFI: What do you feel are your strengths?

BARDEN: My strengths are that I feel I have the best hands and not saying it to be ****y, but that is my mentality on the field. I feel I use my body well. I understand spacing and positioning on the field. I feel like I have been trained to play the game with great effort…releases off the line of scrimmage and I am strong with the ball after I have it in my hands. I want to fight for extra yards. Great concentration and coachable. I am always eager to learn and I love competing. My attitude on the field is that of a leader.
