Ronnie Bradford hired as Senior Special Teams Assistant

From the article:

The connection between Bradford and the Dolphins is not merely a professional engagement; it is a homecoming of sorts. Starting his NFL career as a fourth-round pick by the Dolphins, Bradford's career has come full circle with this appointment. Moreover, this is not the first time Bradford and Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel have crossed paths. Their history dates back to 2005, when Bradford was plying his trade as the special teams coordinator for the Broncos, and McDaniel was starting his career as an intern. This reunion at the Dolphins hints at a shared vision for the team's future, leveraging a deep understanding of the game and mutual respect fostered over years of indirect collaboration.

You'd like to think since the kickoff has all but been eliminated that there should (theoretically) be more time and attention available for honing the punt coverage. Ours has seemingly been steadily dropping off the last couple years. Kind of a head scratcher . Injuries as @Danny pointed out above certainly have not helped.

translation: THey know we need ST help but Danny Crossman is respected for other qualities in coaching
"other qualities" - codeword for dating Ross's daughter.

We have plenty of "players" coaches on the staff. Struggling to think of something he brings to the table that would trump onfield performance.
