But coming off their bye, the Jets are 2-0 for the first time since winning their first four contests in 2000 when they missed the playoffs. New York has missed the playoffs the last five times it started 2-0, including 1972, 1978, 1987 and 1994.

What does that mean? What does 2000, '94 or any oter year we started out 2-0 have to do w/ now? It has about as much to do w/ when we started out 2-0 in '68 and won the SB.
