Sexy rexy giddy about sparsnos offensive mind workin with tebow! Haha

The Bills only hired Lee after the 2011 season. He spent last season with Sparano in Miami.

Hmm, that's interesting. I though NYjunk knew everything about everything football? This seems odd.........

I really need to explain it? That's how you rationalize a decade plus of mising the playoffs, almost 20 years btw playoff wins, competing for a playoff spot ONCE since 2000.

It really sucks losing a title game or any time in the playoffs I had a great time watching my team make those runs, it was much more fun than missing the playoffs. You have to enjoy the journey sometimes.

......
Anything short of a Super Bowl win is a disappointment to me. It sounds like you are the one rationalizing here............

The problem with this scenario is that the Jests were simply awful running the ball last season, and they've done nothing to get any better -- unless you assume that inserting Tebow in gimmick plays regularly will work. They passed so much last season because they couldn't run: their 3.9 YPC was 29th in the league. That kind of YPC says that they had lots of runs for negative yardage plus lots of 1 and 2 yard carries and not many big gains.

Their OL is probably better suited to pass blocking than run blocking, and Shonn Greene strikes fear into nobody.

The Jets struggled the first half running the ball, the 2nd half of the season they ran it very well w/ Shonn Greene who still averaged 4.2 YPC for the season despite the poor first half.

Early in the year no doubt they passes a ton b/c they were struggling to run and were down early in games, later in the year we ran it pretty effectively.

you can use team YPC but Greene had 253 carries and averaged 4.2, the rest of the RBs carried it a combined 144 times. We need another back to complimet him whether mcknight is ready, Powell is ready or we need to draft someone but Greene is a quality back.

If you say so.

The problem with that scenario is that your team couldn't run when they wanted to even late in the season. Your OL is better suited to pass blocking rather than run blocking, especially since you have a strong LT and a very weak RT (most teams run to the right side). Maybe Sparano can walk on water as an OC.

The problem is our D couldn't stop philly and our couldn't stop turning it over vs. philly and we fell behind early big. Vs. NYg we had a million penalties and were constantly in 2nd and 3rd and longs. Vs. Miami they had a a drive that last almost a qtr. We still need another back w/o question but Shonn Greene has proven he can play in this league and be a quality back.

The pass blocking was atrocious a year ago, the run blocking improved as the year went alog but the pass blocking did not. That is big reason why Sparano is here. We'll see if it works.

Rex wants to run the ball early and often which is Sparano strong suit in teaching OL. He's pass blocking leaves much to be desired. This is why Sparano wanted all his QBs to release the ball 3 seconds or under since his OL can't buy time.

Little bit concered how we match up with the big WR the Jets took. Kid's raw but has size, speed and knows how to block.

This simply confirms my opinion that the Jests are going to abandon the forward pass except as a novelty or gimmick play. They're gonna install Savior Tebow as their option/wildcat QB and run the ball out of that formation 50+ times a game.
