SirDrums NFL Rankings Week 6:

Concerning Miami:

1. The underdog win by Miami gives them a good boost in the index score.

2. Miami has now controlled the ball a combined 57 minutes longer than their opponents. They are now behind the Giants (62 minutes)

3. We have now scored 3 more points than we have allowed. Woo hoo! ha ha

Around the League:

1. The Giants just keep piling it on. Did you know they have outscored their opponents by a combined 80 points, have a +5 turnover ratio and have gained 959 more yards than they have given up this year? Even with the hits their taking for playing inferior opponents they are able to make up for it.

2. Denver keeps surprising everyone and they keep managing to stay just ahead of the colts in the index. The argument can be made that the colts should be above them but does anyone know how good Denver really is? I have stopped trying to guess.

3. The Jets have lost two in a row, one of which was to an underdog, so they have taken a hit in the rankings.

4. Talk about a rude awakening. The 49ers came crashing back to earth this week.

5. Oakland got beat so bad that they managed to out suck the Rams and Tampa bay. Way to go guys!

On with the Rankings!:

Note: Teams in Red have had their bye week which puts them at a one game disadvantage.

Washington Redskins ranked higher than Detroit Lions yet they lost to them!!!

Redskins SUCK and should be in the 30s!!!

Attention all fellow dolphin fans: do not read the CBS sportsline power rankings. Our ranking last week? 19. This week after beating the Jets? 19. Are they on drugs? Meanwhile the Cowboys are 15 for beating ****ty Chiefs in OT. We almost beat the Super Bowl favorite colts, dominating them, and played great against the Jets and destroyed the Bills. But okay, rank us below the Cowboys, Cardinals, 49ers and Packers.

How can we be ranked higher then Atlanta and/or Pitt?

Miami is higher than Atlanta right now becasue we haven't had our bye week yet.

Since the league is going through its bye weeks, the rankings are going to fluctuate a little until all the teams are back on the same footng.

Falcons 16 and Cowboys 9??? LOL

The bye weeks are scewing things a little. They should work themselves out once everyone is back to playing the same amount of games.
