The Texans waived defensive end Sam Montgomery, linebacker Willie Jefferson, and running back Cierre Woodon Monday. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the three players violated team rules at the squad's hotel in Kansas City.

Wonder what they were doingOrgy?............Smoking the piece pipe?

Wow Montgomery is shocking he was just a third round pick. Cierre wood is disappointing because he has so much talent but can't keep it together off the field, he had the same problem at nd.

Part of me thinks these moves are for Kubiak to reassert himself into control of the locker room, but at this point I would be very surprised if they bring back him and schaub

They must have done something pretty bad for this to happen, still searching down the whats up.....

Agent: Release not due to pot

The agent for former Houston Texans defensive end Sam Montgomery on Tuesday denied an ESPN.com report that his client was released by the team for marijuana use.

"It is our position that the story written about Sam Montgomery by ESPN which sets forth that he was dismissed from the Houston Texans for using marijuana is completely in accurate," Jeff Guerriero said in a statement sent by text message to ESPN.com. "Mr. Montgomery was dismissed from the team for allegedly violating a team rule. This can be confirmed by the Houston Texan personnel."
