Him and Tank are the biggest reason for the defensive turnaround.

Yes. William Hayes, Charles Harris, and both rookie DTs are playing good ball. Phillips has a few splash plays a game too.I'd throw in the d-line playing even better than they did to start the season. A few of the guys on the line were playing well game one, but the rookies in particular have really stepped it up the last few weeks. Branch also has played somewhat better of late.

Just re-watched the condensed version of the game.
Damn, I am so impressed with Timmons. Simply a force. Flying around, smacking guys in the mouth, and just adding so much intensity to our D.
Love how Burke is moving him around. Saw him at Sam, at Mac, as a stand-up Rusher from his OLB spot. Only wish we had him for the last 10 years.
Can't remember the last time we had a backer that was a real stud like that. ZT was great, but was never an ***-kicker like this guy. Totally different mentality and skill set.
This post is right on the money.Timmons comes in at the tail end of his career after Pittsburgh was ready to move on... and shows Miami fans just what we've been missing at LB for a decade.
Miami has forgotten what it's like to have talented, instinctual LBs. Game-changing. Timmons has made more intinctual, read and athletic plays in a few games than Miami has seen out of the position in years.
Big-time pickup.
