Undervalued Players

39. Markeith Summers WR Mississippi 6'3" 205lbs.
He only had 28recs. for 575yds and 6 TDs in 2010. This year he averaged 20.5ypc and in 2009 he averaged 23.2ypc.
Strengths
Tall target and good athlete. Good athletic ability and speed for his size. Big play receiver, as he has the speed to take it the distance and the height and athleticism to make rebounds on jump ball passes.
Weaknesses
Catches the ball too close to his pads. Doesn't work back to the ball well enough on hitch and comeback routes. Makes poor decisions, as he dove into the end zone in a game that cost the Rebels important field position late in the game versus LSU.
Projection
UDFA who'll need to show something to be more than just a training camp body.

I think i have a good one, I cannot remember if he has been mentioned but i think he could be a target if we are able to trade down or maybe even if his workouts are beastly.

anyway JUSTIN HOUSTON, has experience in a 3-4 from a former cowboy coach and just goes goes goes.

Everything I have read says that he will not be coming out till next year.:(
**Scratch that, just read that on Jan16 he declared for the draft.:hclap:

Denarius Moore. Amazing deep threat at Tennessee 200+ receiving yards two times this season. 6'1 4.4 40.

40. Justin Houston DE/LB Georgia 6'3" 258lbs.
In the midst of a breakout season at Georgia, Houston is propelling himself up NFL Draft boards at a rapid rate. The outside OLB/DE showed signs of things to come with seven sacks in 2009, but nothing could have predicted this. Through nine games as a junior, Houston has a whopping 15.5 tackles for loss (10 more than any other player on the team) and nine sacks (6.5 more than any other Bulldog). He also has a ridiculous 35 quarterback hurries (23 more than any of his teammates). For good measure, Houston has added a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Houston has good size at 6'3'' and 258 pounds. He looks like a defensive end, and that's exactly what he might play at the next level in a 4-3 scheme. In a 3-4 defense he can set up at rush linebacker. Houston has been clocked as fast as 4.64 in the 40-yard dash, but he will want to improve on that if he wants to establish himself as a sure-thing first-rounder. Prior to this season he looked like a third-rounder at best. If he continues at this pace and leaves early, a first-round selection is possible.

Looking for a slot receiver with terrific playmaking ability?

Tennessee’s Denarius Moore is your guy.

The 6'1" 195-pound Moore, a former high school track standout from Texas, has suffered through Tennessee’s offensive struggles all year. But he was finally able to break out and show the world his ability in the Volunteers’ last two games.

Against South Carolina and Memphis, Moore combined for over 300 receiving yards, scored two touchdowns and showed how dangerous of a receiving threat he can truly be.

42. Chris Dieker QB Southern Illinois 6'5" 230lbs.
Dieker threw for 1800+yds. in 2010 and 15TDs. Because of his size and arm strength many scouts thought that he could be the second coming of Joe Flacco, but his poor decision making this year has dropped him to possibly being an UDFA. He does possess all the physical attributes to play QB, so maybe with some coaching he can put it all together. Diekerhris Dieker

43. Martin Parker DT Richmond 6'3" 300lbs.
Parker put on 15 pounds before the start of the 2010 season to give himself a better chance of getting drafted. Although he appears lean for a man of his size his work in the weight room paid off as he sports a 420lbs.BP and a 640lbs.Squat. Also at 300lbs. he runs a 5.0/40. One scout said that he wanted to see a more dominate player in the CAA, but he does possess the strength and explosiveness one wants to see in a defensive tackle.

44. Alex DiMichele ILB Robert Morris 6'2" 240lbs.
2010 NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Alex DiMichele (Pittsburgh, PA/Sto-Rox), spent his first collegiate season playing for Philadelphia-based Temple before a return to his native Pittsburgh yielded 323 tackles over three seasons. He has resided amongst the NEC’s top-four ranked tacklers in each of his three years at Robert Morris. DiMichele made a team-high 98 stops (42 solo) and logged 6.5 tackles for loss on his way to claiming the NEC’s top defensive accolade in 2010. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound inside linebacker was at the heart of a Robert Morris defense that allowed a league-low 18.3 points per contest. DiMichele made a number of game-changing plays in the past two seasons, accounting for three interceptions, two forced fumbles, and five fumbles recoveries during that time. He was a key component of the Colonials’ title-clinching victory over 2009 NEC champion CCSU. He made 13 tackles in the game, none bigger than the one that forced a fumble, which DiMichele proceeded to recover, at the Blue Devils’ one-yard line.

What about Bruce Miller from UCF? Nobody is hyping him up at all even after being the active leader in sacks and tackles for loss in the NCAA.

45. Bruce Miller OLB Central Florida 6'1" 259lbs.
DE Bruce Miller is the proven veteran of a very good defensive unit. He had two sacks against SMU to raise his total to nine for the season. He also recorded a couple of interceptions, returning both for touchdowns. - The Sports Xchange
Bruce Miller, Sr., UCF, has been selected All-Conference USA First Team for the 2010 college football season as selected by the league's 12 head football coaches. Miller joins Adalius Thomas of Southern Miss (1998-99) as the only repeat winners of C-USA Defensive Player of the Year prize. Miller leads all players nationally with his 34 career sacks, a number which matches Florida State's Peter Boulware (1994-96) for the fourth most ever by an FBS player in the talent-rich state of Florida. - UCF football

46. Vai Taua RB Nevada 5'9" 211lbs.
"5'9" 211lbs." For the old timers here, does this remind you of Don Nottingham?
Overview
Named 1st Team All-WAC for 3 consecutive seasons; 3rd Team All-America in 2010 and Doak Walker Award watchlist; ran for 1534 yards with 19 TDs and caught 15 balls for 216 yards and 3 TDs. Scored 53 career TDs 2009 - ran for 1345 and 10 TDs with 12 catches for 99 yards (122.3 yards per game and 7.8 yards per rush); missed final Hawai'i Bowl game due to academic ineligibility. Shrine Bowl invitee.
Strengths
Powerful, competitive runner who is extremely productive and consistent. Hard runner who is very difficult to tackle one-on-one since he keeps his pads square and center of gravity low - looks for and finds the cut-back lanes. Adequate hands out of the backfield and makes his cuts quickly upfield. Solid and aggressive blocker in pass protection.
Weaknesses
2009 academic issues let team down going into bowl. Could use 5 more pounds. Tends to catch passes on his body. Top end speed good but not elite. Sometimes impatient and hits hole too soon.
Projection
7th round.

47. Chad Spann RB Northern Illinois 5'8" 200lbs.
Definitely one to watch in Texas vs. Nation. He had been described as a rolling ball of dynamite. Like Michael Turner, a former NIU product, he may be small in stature but his thick lower body allows him to pack a powerful punch. He is not only powerful, but also posses the shiftiness to make defenders miss. He lead the MAC with 1388yds. and 22 TDs, he was voted the MAC Offensive Player of the Year and also won the Mac Vern Leadership Award.
