I wouldn't say no to a receiver in the 3rd, slot receiver who's a better fit with Hill and Waddle. Wilson was beat out for his starting job by a guy playing special teams a pre-draft buy down his contract 2-3 mil and clearing 5-6 mil and getting another 3rd pick would be nice. I'm not saying Wilson is a bad player just doesn't seem to fit here.

Doubt using our 2024 2nd to move up the 3rd is a great idea either if we need it to get a RT.

Possibly. I don't think teams will view him as a game changer in the receiving game. Obviously, he has great hands and wins contested footballs. There's a lot of tight coverage in his tape as well so separation might be a question.

Of course, he's like an extra offensive lineman as a blocker. That was Larry Csonka back in the day as well.
