What about Jamal Anderson as a backup?

They are going to get an impact back this season anyway. They could sign him to a one year deal for cheap to compete and serve as a backup.

I believe Ricky rushed for the 2nd most carries in NFL history last year.
One RB carried more, and that was Jamal Anderson who eclipsed the 400 carry mark the year Atlanta went to the SuperBowl and lost to the Broncos.

After that, he was done. Abd so was Ricky.

The Patriots tried him out a couple of years ago, maybe even early last year, not sure. He failed the physical. The man is done.

Priority #1, IMO, should be resigning Chambers and Ogun. There is nobody out there at a reasonable price that will be better than what I believe will be the Minor/Morris/Henry rotation (with a tad of Konrad).
