I know quincy carter is not that great of a passer and has drug problems but
what do you think about signing him and using him in a situational role like
3rd down and short, the guy has speed and could help us ? just a thought.
 
wouldn't be worth the price he's commanding. plus jerry jones was pretty adamant about getting rid of him - he must have some more problems we don't know about. the very LAST thing this team needs is MORE drama.....

i'll pass on QC
 
Nah I wouldnt take a chance on him, or want him for anything.
 
Yeah, with Vinney, and Henson as their other qbs, there must be something very wrong with him...
 
maybe the drug thing scared jerry and he got rid of him, i think he could help someone but probably not the phins

You're just kidding, right? After the Ricky thing and a lot of other problems that this team's had the last few years with trouble players and you wanna us to bring in one more? :shakeno:

im not crazy about the whole "situational QB" thing. And if we were going to have one, i wouldnt want it to be Carter.
 
Quincy will find a home for himself, but we have no need for him here. Rewind to last year, when Jay Fiedler demolished the highly ranked Cowboy defense while the Phins blanked Carter. He'll end up somewhere that needs a backup or a QB alot more than us.
 
im sorry but I think he has a head on his shoulders yes he did drugs but it seems he is football smart he would be an upgrade to this offence and push feely and fiedler for the qb possition and make it a competitive run for the starting spot.

no way should we sign this guy.i think fiedler is better then carter.
