Why are we avoiding Chud?

Had the #8 offense in the NFL with total garbage (D. Anderson) at QB and next to nothing at the skill positions. So, uh, yeah.

Just remember, being a good coordinator doesn't necessarily make you a good head coach. Different skill sets...

True, but a coach who has demonstrated that he can handle that level of responsibility, can adapt to his personnel and create an explosive, high scoring offense regardless of whether he has a rookie QB (after a lockout shortened offseason) or a guy who is so bad that he is out of the league a year later, has certainly demonstrated some competence as a coach.

It certainly makes him a better candidate than an offensive line coach who called running plays for half of one season.
