Just saw this on ESPNEWS.

I'm surprised it hasn't been posted yet.

I didn't even see him get hurt during the game.

DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins cornerback Will Allen is out for the season with a left knee injury.



Allen hurt his anterior cruciate ligament in the third quarter of the Dolphins' loss to New Orleans and will require surgery, coach Tony Sparano said Monday.
Allen has missed only one game since joining the Dolphins in 2006. He leads the team with two interceptions this year.
He'll be replaced by 2009 first-round draft pick Vontae Davis, which means the Dolphins will start two rookie cornerbacks Sunday at the New York Jets. Second-round pick Sean Smith has been starting opposite Allen.

its actually 3 picks i think for hte year. he had 2 in one game.

I honestly dont think its a big deal...

They guy gives up so many big plays...

He is good tackler...

He gets so many Pi calls tho...

Only thing that sucks is that his salary is guranteed for next year.. 5 mil or so..

I want Vontae to get some more burn... Phins are in this for the long haul
 
Most of the PI calls against him this season have been garbage. He's had terrible luck this year. This is a big blow as he has been our only consistent play maker in the secondary.
