Dont think the idea started in the recent history of your little paper kingdom. In fact I am absolutely sure other teams were bringing in wrestlers way before your team even had fans... you know like 7 or 8 years ago...:wink:

Jets Coach Eric Mangini has a soft spot for these rock-hard wrestlers, and not only because he dabbled in the sport in high school. He watched Steve Neal, a world-class wrestler, become a productive guard for the New England Patriots.

Tell me where Mangini got the idea from? Was it from Neal while he was with the Pats or the "7 or 8 (which is it?) years ago" teams? I think we can all figure that out.

And therein lies the true heart of the matter.

I have no intention of wanting a turf war, or to pump my chest. I was calling out the media who was making a bigger deal about the fact that Mangini was finding wrestlers as players.

The fact that you enjoy striking a nerve explains it all. Come on man, we're both adults, there is no need for Depths talk.

Last season it was the boxing videos. He was heralded as a genius for it. Belichick had been doing that for years, and I am sure many other coaches have as well.
