Your favorite draft cliches and meaning

Everything is a "smokescreen." Belicheat sneezed and farted in the draft room. Smokescreen!

High Motor Guy = WHITE GUY

I think your'e confusing high motor with "hustle" and "scrappy". High motor is usually describing a player who is relentless until the play is over, or doesn't take plays off.

But here are some more

QB-"can make every throw"
RB- "he's an every down back"
WR- "raw" usually meaning not technical in terms of route running, or the player has gotten away with poor habits because of athleticism or natural ability
OL- "people mover" "short-armed" "great feet"
DL- "burst" "good bend at the knees" "full arsenal of pass rush moves" "small frame"
LB- "thumper" "every down linebacker"
CB- "raw"- similar to receiver in that a player uses athleticness to cover up bad habits like being too handsy. "fluid hips" "change of direction"

I just want you all to know that I'm a student of the game, and I have a high football IQ. I'm worth a flier in the 7th round.
