Actually no. I was just watching a video a few days ago where a Pats fan was saying that they would be upset I'd flores was lost. 1. They liked him better than Patricia saying hes more aggressive with the players and 2. They said they had no back up plan. Said they think if flores leaves belichick might have to coach defense or his son...so I dunno I havent heard any Patriots fan say who is flores or it's ok if he goes...take it for whatever though.
 
Daryl, brother I can only assume that the Dolphins hate QBs with great improvisational skills. They seem to like robots. If Ross is right about Flores it's because even a blind man steps in **** sometimes. I wanted a bigger name. I'm tired of bringing in guys where you don't really know what you have because they are first time head coaches. All the money spent and so much on the line and we go for what amounts to crap shoot. I wanted a veteran head coach who has major post season success. I want to look at a guys record as a head coach and say this guy is for the Dolphins. A guy like Gary Kubiak or Munchak but we will do it the Dolphin way and hope that everything works out fine like it did with Gase, Tannehill, Landry, Ajayi, Pouncey, Parker, Phillips, Jordon, Harris, Cameron, Philbin, Sporano, Martin, Incognito etc. Do you see a pattern? It's called failure and the Dolphins do it over and over. Ross needed to totally clean house to break the chain. Hope I'm wrong and Grier kicks ****.
 
Well I look at it this way if Flores might be as horrible as other Billicheats hires then in what is appearing to be a throwaway year next year then he can be shown the door prior to 2020 when we aquire our future QB.

The new assistant GM and oline coache hire are interesting. I am interested to see if Rizi stays he has a good proven track record here and we need as much of that around here as we can get.
 
I missed the part about where he’s bringing the entire NE defense with him. That must be why we want him.

Biggest housecleaning was TBum!

To be nice. He sucked. And I really like the fact Grier dissed on him more than once in PUBLIC.

Now it's up to him. Maybe we have a 50/50 shot. Maybe less. Maybe more. Doesn't matter.

At least we have that titanic POS out of the picture.

Gotta remember Ireland screwed us over as a punk imported from Dallas.

Grier is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than Irelend IMO.

I'm like OK with the "rebuild" and keeping Grier is probably a LOT more justified than

peeps like you and me know on the outside. I'd bet heavily that Ross collected some inside

info regarding who wanted what and who was in opposition to some of the bonehead moves

we've made. I think Chris Grier knows a LOT more about football than TBum.

But now he's gotta prove it. And we've got to give the process some time...
 
With Flores and Grier things may get turned around quick. It's not going to take 4-5 years of blind optimism. If their plan on Qb hits, winning big is going to come faster than many of us think.

If Flores and Grier turn us into a contender.... I will happily eat crow. As a matter of fact....I will be among the first. I just have a bad feeling about the whole situation.
 
Let's say I'm producing a movie and I need a theme song for the film. Do I go to a first time songwriter? Or would I rather check with Neil Diamond or Paul Simon? I just feel that from a business standpoint I rather have a lot more certainty about my next head coach. If Flores is a wrong hire we're set back again. At least Tannenbaum and Tannehill are gone. By the mere subtraction of those 2 we'll be a far better team. And yes, we must get the right QB and build a championship team around him.
