Fly Down For Eagles....yes Or No ?

Well, Well, WELL.. I ve been to 24 road stadiums to see the Phins play ( or lay...). I have been blessed with my company moves and being single until 37.
Let me start by saying there is no HIGHER high than winning on the road, and no lower low than losing (at Home ) or on the road. If the only metric that
counts is if you think we will win, i would likely save the shekels for a while.

Some of the worst are division games, Raiders and Eagles. Raiders fans are legit tards. I am just over paying the bills for sitting thru the 62-7 jaguars day. After blowing up the kingdome, i thought for sure we were on our way.

I remember the great decision to fly from Seattle down to Oakland for the Niners Game. Rented a car, scalped a ticket, enjoyed a 21-0 loss to J Garcia and flew home same day. Really , Really fun experience......

If any of you every get a chance to go to Green Bay( moved my sisters wedding for that L) or Kansas City ( secured the Division in 08). Coldest day in Phins Game history, and i couldnt have been any happier...

Go have fun. Live and then some.

I’ve flown down from NJ to watch offenses led by Joey Harrington (vs Vikes) and Fiedler led teams (multiple). I saw Tannehill lead us to a comeback victory over Tampa and realized after the game I was sitting behind the great and ridiculously tall Kellen Winslow Sr who had come to watch his son play. Have also been down for games vs Michael Vick when he was w Atlanta and a few others including losses to Baltimore on multiple occasions. Oh, and a win when Dan Campbell cured the team of its vaginitis allowing us to smash back against the bully. I didn’t start going to south Florida for games until about 2001/2002. But would go see Marino come up to play the Jets (Giants on occasion too) since way back. Flying home from Miami after a loss is far better than losing to the Jets here at home. Nowadays the game (if I go to Miami) is the bonus on top of the amazing food, scenery and culture of south Florida. Go for the weekend and enjoy. Takes the sting out of the loss, should we lose.

Do you still travel to games even if our chances are slim to none? I still don't handle losses well. Any instances where you went anyway and how'd it turn out ? Help change my mind unless you just had enough of us from Jersey.

PA/Jersey guy here, born in South Florida.

I was there for the Minnesota game this past year, and went to the game in the Meadowlands for Met Life Takeover.

The Jets win was phenomenal. The Minnesota game...well, I loved the weather, and had good beer. it was still an enjoyable time. I'll go to the Meadowlands twice this year, and we'll visit South Florida at some point; the schedule will dictate what happens with that.

It's absolutely worth it; and look at it this way - if the Fins really suck, the tickets will be cheaper online. I think I paid $40 a pop for my tickets to the Minnesota game - I bought them online the day before the game. At the very least, I'd check out the Met Life Takeover games.

I just need to man up or risk losing my last travel partner(eagles fan).We been going to games together since the strike game at the NYG somehow i survived many beatdowns in the past. It is after all just a game.

Went to the playoff game in Pittsburgh a few years ago when I knew our chances were slim to none. Even though I expected the Steeler's to win I had to be there just in case the opposite happened. If I missed a playoff win that close to home I'd never forgive myself. Ended up being a disappointing trip though.....

Have not been to south Florida yet for a game. Seen them plenty on the West Coast tho. Chargers in the season opener in '86, lost 50-28. Later same year beat the Rams 35-31 in OT. Flew up to Seattle in '92, we barely won 19-17. In SD for the AFC Divisional playoff game that we lost 22-21 (never will get over that loss). Sunday Night Football on ESPN again in SD the next year, we won 24-14. And the 2017 opener in LA, beating the Chargers 19-17. So, go see them any chance you get. Home game is the plan in the next year or so.

I would go. I would def try to find the a great deal as we will probably lose that game but the renovation to the stadium is worth seeing in person. Plus Miami is one of the best cities in the World. Can’t see you regretting that decision
