Do you still travel to games even if our chances are slim to none? I still don't handle losses well. Any instances where you went anyway and how'd it turn out ? Help change my mind unless you just had enough of us from Jersey.
Thanks i think apathy could be the answer. hopefully it's right around the corner just not sure what's taking so long. Anyway this was the first thread i started after being here 20 years glad i didn't get hung out to dry ! you to fishfanI used to get that anxiety. I loved it. I hated it. Eventually apathy took over and made things easier emotionally, but I do miss the highs and lows.
It's not much fun losing like we did that year to GB having to trudge to the car and then fight your way through the scrum to get out only for a depressing and silent ride north on the Turnpike.I have yet to attend a dolphins game, been a fan for, oh wow, 30 years now. I enjoy watching the games from home, but really want to see one live in person. I don't handle losses well still either and feel more comfortable being home when they happen. I'm on the west coast, the dolphins have come here quite a few times, but I would rather see a game on home turf. Definitely a change in scenery and more importantly weather would be a good relief to going down to south Florida, if you have the means to. Even if they are having a rebuild season.
Reading your post it came to me the answer is head south after the game nothing like floating around in a pool in Miami or the keys.I think the problem may have been flying back immediately after the gamesIt's not much fun losing like we did that year to GB having to trudge to the car and then fight your way through the scrum to get out only for a depressing and silent ride north on the Turnpike.
