I think this is a crucial early season game.If we fall to 0-2 in the division against a team which we should handle fairly easy this will not be good.this would be a great chance to knock out the bills early.With the schedule that they have and 4 losses already that would hurt them big time. IMO it then would be between us and the patsies for the division. go fins
 
If we lose this game vs the Bill's that empty feeling we all shared for most of last season will come back full force. If we really are gonna compete for a playoff spot we MUST win this game.
 
0-2 would hurt, but it wouldn't be a knockout punch. If the Pats and Jets lose again this week 0-2 in the division (2-2 overall) would still be in 1st place in the division.

Of course, I would much rather just win and not have to worry about it. The Bills are vulnerable right now. We need to kick them while they're down.
 
This is a huge game if we lose 0-2 in the division shows we are weak on the road and then we still have 2 division games against NE. If we win we keep first in the division, our division record looks decent and it shows we can win on the road also.

I think we need to win. Tie breakers at playoff time come back to haunt teams that are trying to make it in the playoffs. AND we are not historicaly good in the later part of the season.
 
I'm almost more concerned about seeing solid improvements in penalties and in our secondary than I am about winning the game. If we play a much more solid game but still lose because the Bills really show up with a vengeance and play a great game, I feel better than if we win another penalty-filled game where we are repeatedly burned downfield for long gains.

There's a lot of season ahead of us, and we are bound to lose a few more games. In January it won't make any difference whether we dropped game four or game eight, but our position at that point *will* depend on whether we were able to plug the holes in our game.
 
Not so fast... although it would hurt they must also come here. I will go out on a limb and say we will get our revenge against the Jets

That's why this game is so important to us, not them...Losman will get better or be replaced, but if we lose to them, we will be 0-2 in the division which would put us in a major hole...not to mention the emotional issues of the players if we lose...(and many of us fans as well)...

Yes it would be a blow but not a knock out. That kind of sounds like you want the fish to play dirty, I know thas not what you meant, but it just sounds that way.

Thats true.Losing to a division rival is like losing 1.5 games in its effect.

0-2 in our division would be hard to overcome but not impossible given the weakness of the division this year.

IMO this is the most important game of the year ,so far.

couldnt agree more this is the game we usually drop every year and dolphins finsih tied with someone who has less losses in our division, if this team is different like zack claims we have to win!!
 
yes 0-2 in the division would suck, but it would be 0-2 on the road in our division... as long as we win the games at home like we are supposed to, an 0-2 division start can be overcome by winning our home games...
