solutions for wayne :

1/ call don shula and tell him : we need you (I can't believe don won't help our team)

2/ditka : he's available and iron man is perhaps what we need ? and a 3 month experiment to loo what happen is a no loose situation ! and if his chemistery with our players is good sign him a longer contract at end of the season

3/seifert : why not a west coast offense mind coach for changement ?

4/ promote trestman or foerster ? (for me not a good idea but wayne coud think at this solution)

5/hire an available head coach but who ?

wait and see but we must do à change !

Listen close to my voice, young European fan:

0-3 does not END our season. We have 13 more games to play and no one knows for sure what will happen. yes, things look bad now but we all have to wait and see. As for Shula, he stands as good a chance of being asked to participate at his age as does GANDOLF from LOTR.

At least Gandolf would have a few trick plays we could try.

Let's see how this team responds. When we get to the bye week we'll know an awful lot about this team.

Until then my young friend, hush now. Hush now. Close your eyes and it will all soon be better.

:roflmao:

I suppose then we could even dig Lombardi up from the grave and have him coach. There is no coach that can save us from the pending doom that we will face.

solutions for wayne :

1/Shula: Doesnt have the energy to be a coach in this league anymore....he hasnt been active in years compared to Gibbs and Vermeil

2/ditka : He's an Iron Man because he's taking LeVitra, hes not the same coach as the guy who coached the Monsters of the Midway

3/seifert : wasnt he the guy that went 1-15 with CArolina?

4/ promote trestman or foerster ? What has Foerster done to deserve a promotion, same thing with Trestman?

5/hire an available head coach but who ? this seems like a good option ;)

Patriots started 0-2 last year and even lost to the Bills 31-0 then came back to win the Super Bowl. Our season is not lost. But it will be if we don't fix our offensive probs.

Jim Mora: "Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs. Are you kidding me? Playoffs?"

Ok I don't want to ever hear this comparison again. We are not the Patriots!!! OK!!!!! They are a far better team on both sides of the ball, and the reason is, they have superior coaching.

Hindsight is 20/20. You gotta realize that THEY did NOT think of that THE TIME when they got shut out by buffalo. I am sure back then there were same the two schools of thought as in this board. that a) were gonna suck b) the season is not over. We may win 13 in a row, who knows. I am sure that the Pats fans didnt know they would win 14 in a row and go to the superbowl after the 2nd loss. Bottom line is, you never know.

Nick Saban is my first choice, but does he leave LSU?

Well, I actually expected to lose to Buffalo that first game. Mind you, I didn't think it would have been as bad as it was. But you can't take your defensive captain and put him (L. Milloy) on the other team and not expect them to have an advantage. It was at the Washington game that I said to myself its going to be a loooong season." It made us 2-2... after that they became possesed... and you don't need me to tell you the rest..

But your right, you never know, You have to have faith. BUT you gotta remember its only a game and win or lose you gotta take it with a grain of salt.

The 2003 Patriots still had an O that put up points. Our O is in complete dissaray.

65 yds in the first half?

The Patriots were a team familiar with each other who may have had a mediocre O-line, but with receivers Brady had already had rythm with. Their running game wan't great, but it was more productive than 40yds a game. Plus their coaching, their COACHING was top notch. Wannstedt is not good enough. He doesnt adjust.

Plus, they were a team one year removed from the SB. We have a new QB, RB, and 4 of 5 OL-men. Oh yeah, and a new OC and set of coaches.

This is not a cinderella team.

I rode that comparison for a while too, but it's time to get off guys. If you really wanted to look to a recent team who turned it around, look at that Jets team that started 1-4 the year Pennington came in. Unfortunately Feeley aint looking like Pennington.

if an interem coach is hired, j. cole said it would be jim bates. you can't bring in those outsiders mid season, they can't install their systems; shula already said that about coming back. bates has the longest tenure, it would be him.
