I am sitting here just watching the Titans rip apart the Lions(currently 35-3 in the second quarter). I haven't watched really any Lions games this year, and I know they are taking on the best AFC team, but I just have to say that this team strikes me as one that will be the first 0-16 team in NFL history.

The Dolphins were bad last year. However, I felt there were numerous times last year that they played much better then a 1-15 team. They were actually competitive in games and almost pulled out wins against the Redskins, Jets, Texans, Bills, Giants and Steelers.

These Lions just look bad. I never really thought a team would go 0-16 in the NFL. I never really thought the Dolphins would do it(though I admit I was sweating it out when they 0-13), but this Lions team seems to have the special(or lack of?) ingredients to pull it off.

With today a likely loss, they will be 0-12 with just four games to go. Here is who they have left:

Minnesota (6-5)
@ Indianapolis (7-4)
New Orleans (6-5)
@ Green Bay (5-6)

This could be that year.

A 1-15 team like the 07' Dolphins or the 01' Panthers will be forgotten down the road from now. However, an 0-16 team will live forever in our minds.

Yup, they have a great chance to go 0-16. It's really hard to imagine a team being worse than last year's Dolphins, though.

If they do manage to pull out a win, I hope it's v.s. Indy. That would make my year.

As bad as we were last year, we didn't seem to fall apart in every game like the Lions. They are just getting absolutely walked on right now.

I feel bad for them. And their Fans. Last year was the worst because not only were we bad but we constantly wondered are we going to win? Then finally Camarillo agaisnt the Ravens. I hope the Lions win at least one. No one deserves to go defeated....

i think the 08 lions would beat the 07 fins, we never would stop calvin johnson

Wow, that is a very tough last few games for them. I really cant see them winning any of those games because all those teams are fighting for a playoff spot.

To me it seems their best chance is next week at home against the Vikings. But Saints and Packers will also offer more than a snowball's chance in hell. As for Indy; slim and none, and Slim seems to be slipping out the back, Jack.

Personnally, I, too, hope they win one.

The Fins were close in a lot of games last year.... The scarry thing however is that we probably should not have won the Ravens game. Baltimore had a 1st and goal at the 1yrd line with about 10 seconds left. Instead of going for the TD, they went for the game-tying FG instead. It was very questionable call that Billick made. And then Stover, who is generally a clutch kicker missed a GW field goal in OT. It's funny how fate works..... That would have really sucked to go 0-16. I think we may see it this year, though.

We have a lot to be thanfkul for in comparison to the Lions. They have sucked bad for decades!

i beg to differ have you seen their D??
No??
they havent either.

John Beck could of fumbled 5 times and we would of still won.
jesse chapman could of ran for 150 easy.
we were nasty last year
they are just sad this year..
seriously if i was a lion fan

i would not watch tv or read the paper all year

Well after seeing the lions play today I say the 07 fins would beat the 08 lions in a very ugly game I think the 07 d of the fins is better than the 08 lions d.

Wow that is a brutal last few games for the lions. I don't think the 08 dolphins would win any of them. We may see an 0-16 team

as bad as the Lions are and as likely as they look to go 0-16, i still think St. Louis has been much much worse overall this year. i'm not sure how they've won 2 games, looking back on it. their losses have been all blowouts by the half.
