Player scouting and movement is just one of the many ways our front office is proving how much better they are at evaluating talent than previous regimes. To further prove this, just look at our draft and the use of our draft picks. Two o-line starters for the next ten years in Long and Thomas. In Henne the qb of the future and in Bess a sure handed receiver with a knack for finding open space. And finally Merling and Langford, the later of the two allowing the movement of Matt Roth to SAM linebacker. If my math serves me correctly and the development of these players continues that's ten quality starter with nine draft picks and a FA pickup (including Fasano, Ferguson, and Adoyele) not a bad way to start the new dynasty!!!

Good post

They sure as hell do know what they are doing..., and BP isn't doing it alone..., smart people surround themselves with smart people... games are won on the line of scrimmage I won't be surpried if they invest more draft picks early next year on the D line...

No offense but so far none of our rookies has played in game that counts. I like the optimisim but our rookies look good in camp every year. Just want to keep the expectations low until I see them perform in a real game.

Dont forget he signed dan carpenter as an undrafted free agent to
