1,000 Yds. Rushing next seasone?? Ricky or Ronnie??

Next seasone we are playing some pretty sad defensive teams.... Do you think one of our star running backs will be able to rush for 1,000 yds. I personally think Ronnie will be able to finish next season over the 1,000 yrd. mark. If we can make a good offensive startegy surounding our star receivers Chambers and Booker as well as Mcmicheal that will give our running attack a big chunk of Yds. to chew up every game...So i think miami will be very dangerous next seasone.Hats off to our offence this season because it's been awhile since we have had a receiver in the probowl and an offence that can put points on the board and keep us in the games cause the games we lost this seasone were very close games...So post your thoughts and tell me what you think thanks for the support PHIN FAMILY!!!!!!:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

I think we could have both reach a 1000 yards if we use them right.
 
i think both of them should be able to do it. reason is: i think we will put more emphasis on the running game next year, thats why saban will look to improve the oline and not any other position on the offense except maybe fullback. if they both stay healthy, then both should have 1000 yard years.
 
i dont think it has ever happend with 2 running backs right? that would be great for them to be the firsts.
 
I would actually like to see them reach about 16-1700 collectively, and see Chambers get another 1000 and McMike and Booker have about 800 between them. Balance is what's Linehan's system is all about.
Of course 1000 a piece would be sweet, and would mean lots of ball control.

im pretty sure Csonka and Mercury Morris both came out with 1000 or more

well **** we did that this year. i think we did better than that. you dont think we will improve with 1 more year of coaching, 1 year under ronnies belt, ricky being back a full year?

Just because it may seem as though we play some soft D's by where they stand right now, I promise you next year the same schedule of teams to start the season won't finish the same as they started. It never does. In other words teams will improve over the off season and thats why strenght of schedule is not really an accurate gauge of whats to come, IMO.

It has happened very few times Czonka and Morris, Bleir and Harris, also Barlow and Hearst came close to this feat a few years ago.

it has happened a few times before. in fact, it happened to us back in the 70s with Czonka and Morris i believe
