Did anyone think that a split of the first two games was a great thing coming into the season, we played two playoff teams and spilt, and was close to sweeping, our most important game is the next won, home vs carolina, if we win this one then we are a better team, if not then get ready for low pick in the 06 draft

I expected Miami to split the first two games, exactly as they have. Denver doesn't scare anyone and going to the Meadowlands is always tough.

carolina is the game, bye week after helps with continued improvement with practice, get to 2-1 respond to the loss in a positive way at home and we are improving, lose again especially at home and it may be a long year of ups and downs

we can compete with carolina... if we stay disciplined... This could be an interesting matchup... And to go 2-1... well that would be awesome!

IMO no way we beat Carolina. We go to the bye 1-2, beat the Jills, and get to 2-2. Ricky comes back, we go 8-4 from there on in get into the playoffs and surprise the world and win the superbowl! Seriously I think we have a good chance to make it to the playoffs but I dont know how much of a chance we have after we make it.

I'm very content with 1-1, especially considering that the rest of the AFC East is 1-1 also. We're technically in first place right now!

I think we have a shot against Carolina @ home, they're coming
off a huge win and we'll have something to prove.

a playoff team last year, can be a sucky team this year.

DENVER is a good example.

as for the jets, untill pennington can throw a pass without making it a freakin sky high rainbow than they arnt going to the playoffs.

i do think carolina will offer you a good "meassuring stick", (i hate that phrase, btw).

but remember, no need to panic untill week 5 or 6. and who knows, by then you may be at the top of the AFC East. who knows....

I am happy to be 1-1. It was hard to know what to expect going into the season, especially since we didn't see a lot of positives in the preseason games. I would be surprised if we beat Carolina, although being at home should help. If we can beat Buffalo, which is possible with a good D I would be thrilled to be at 2-2 when Ricky comes back. His presence alone will help move this team forward. I'm sticking with my hopes of a 9-7 season or better.

You seem to be a reasonable Bills poster. Whats the general feeling on the bills board about yesterday's game vs. the Bucs?

Even though Denver was a playoff team last year, they still sucked. Denver is the NFC team of the AFC
What did Tampa Bay and Houston do last year? Go 10-22 or something close?

Denver and NY Jets went what, 20-12? C'mon

We all got a bit too excited about the Denver beating, now we are faced with the reality that we ARE in one of the toughest divisions and we have the #1 rank schedule...just as the first win shouldn't have gone to our heads but the first lost shouldn't launch us into depression.
